I initially started this website as a place to post my comic, but overtime I got more and more ideas on what I could put here. Posting your dooddles on neocities instead of a mainstream platform and not customizing the fuck out of it would be kinda pointless, wouldn't it?

Main idea for "The Landfills" was born mainly as a response to full-scale war in Ukraine. I've always been quite interested in war history, but when a real war came into my life in 2022, it altered my worldview completely. After a few years had passed, but the world seemed to just keep spiraling into chaos, I felt a strong need to dump my thoughts and feelings somewhere. And that's when I knew that I could finally fulfill my childhood dream of drawing a comic! Never could've guessed that it will happen under such circumstances, but you never know shit's possible until it hits the fan.

The main trio's designs where absolutely accidental. One evening I was casually listening to And One, and when Military Fashion Show came up on my playlist, I thought of an idea to draw, well, a military fashion show. Designs for soldier's uniform, but cool, snatched and terrifyngly impractical. That's how the first ever picture of Rafa, Mikka and Gabbie was made. At this point, I haven't even thought about giving them names, let alone a story. The picture used here is actually the only surviving screenshot of the original sketch that I eventually deleted to clear up some space. I remembered this picture a few months later while trying to put together a portfolio and suddenly thought on giving these baddies some lore.
